BMW M4 GTS 2016
The BMW M3 has been providing the perfect platform for a dozen Special Edition model throughout its history. Who can forget the GTR based E36 and E46 CSL based, or even Cecotto Edition Ravaglia and first generation m3? Then there was the GTS, arguably one of the best performing M3s in the history.
Launched for the 2010 model year & with only 250 units built, the GTS version is more powerful & lighter E92 m3. The Coupe has a 4.4-liter V-8 rated at 440 horsepower & weighs 300 pounds less than the standard M3. This specification makes it very fast in the sprint to 60 mph, which took in just 4.2 seconds, and it was quite popular with collectors. All 250 units were sold immediately, even though the sticker from € 115,000. Although the car remains the only GTS E92 Bimmer for half a decade, the nameplate back to the 2016 model year, this time on the M4.
Tested for months, disguised as MotoGP safety car & then previewed as a concept at Pebble Beach, the M4 production GTS just broke the front cover of the official public debut at the Tokyo Motor Show by 2015.
